When salmon begin their long journey to spawn, their bodies will go through major transformations. Male salmon's jaws will become hooked, and some species also gain a hump on their back.

Crows have an impressive intelligence! They can use and make tools, and are also capable of remembering human faces and other animals. Crows will often pass on their knowledge to others.

Greenland sharks are long-lived, and thought to be able to live to about 500 years. They grow at a slow rate, and are theorized to reach maturity at about 150 years old.

Hippos don't have much fat -- they do have a lot of muscle, though. Since they're too heavy to float in water, hippos will often walk along the bottom of rivers.
